Whether you need a completely new digital TV aerial, a replacement for an older or damaged aerial, a satellite dish installation, additional TV points or assistance with poor reception, our experienced team can provide a solution tailored to your property. We carefully consider signal strength, aerial or dish positioning, cable routes and the number of televisions you need to connect before recommending the most suitable installation. Every system is installed with reliability and appearance in mind, helping achieve strong, consistent reception while keeping external equipment and internal cabling as neat and discreet as practically possible. From a single television connection to a complete TV distribution system serving multiple rooms, The AV Guys can design and install the infrastructure required for reliable everyday viewing.
Reliable TV Reception, Signal Testing & Distribution
Achieving reliable television reception requires more than simply installing an aerial on the roof. The correct aerial type, positioning, alignment, cabling and signal distribution equipment all play an important role in the overall performance of your system. At The AV Guys, we can assess your existing TV aerial or satellite installation, test signal levels and identify potential issues before recommending the most appropriate solution.
Our services can include replacement aerials, satellite dish alignment, new coaxial cabling, signal amplifiers, splitters and distribution equipment, as well as additional TV outlets throughout your property. If you want televisions in bedrooms, kitchens, living rooms, home offices or entertainment spaces, we can professionally distribute the signal to the required locations while keeping visible cabling to a minimum. Where existing infrastructure is suitable, we can also make use of current cabling to help create a practical and cost-effective solution without unnecessary work.
Aerial & Satellite Installations for New Builds and Refurbishments
Our aerial and satellite installation services are also ideal for new-build homes, extensions, renovations and complete property refurbishment projects. Getting The AV Guys involved during the early stages of your project allows us to plan the required TV, satellite, data and AV infrastructure before walls and ceilings are plastered and decorated. We regularly work alongside homeowners, builders, electricians and other trades to determine suitable cable routes, television positions, equipment locations and distribution requirements at the correct stage of construction. First-fix coaxial and network cabling can be installed discreetly within walls and ceilings, helping avoid unnecessary visible cables once the property is finished. When the project reaches second fix, we can install the required outlets, aerial or satellite equipment, connect distribution hardware and thoroughly test the completed system. This coordinated approach creates a cleaner installation while ensuring your property has the infrastructure required for current entertainment equipment and potential future upgrades.

TV Aerial & Satellite Signal Fault Finding and Upgrades
If you're experiencing pixelated pictures, intermittent reception, missing Freeview channels, complete signal loss or unreliable satellite reception, The AV Guys can investigate your existing installation and identify potential causes of the problem. Reception issues can originate from numerous areas of a system, including ageing aerials, damaged coaxial cables, deteriorated external connections, incorrectly aligned equipment, unsuitable amplifiers or faults within the distribution network. Rather than automatically replacing the complete installation, we assess the existing equipment and signal path to determine what may need repairing, adjusting or upgrading. Where appropriate, older systems can be improved with replacement cabling, connectors, distribution equipment or a correctly positioned aerial or satellite dish. We can also upgrade an existing installation when adding extra televisions or renovating your property, helping ensure the system can reliably distribute the required signal to multiple rooms without compromising everyday viewing performance.
